Comprised of seasoned operating partners and experts in operational and functional areas, the team works side-by-side with the management teams of our portfolio companies to jointly implement Value Creation strategies aimed at achieving exceptional results.

Our History

In July 2001, entrepreneur, investor, and philanthropist Mr. Daofeng He and his wife Angela He  founded Beijing Geyuan Investment Consulting Co., Ltd. in Beijing, the capital of China. In Chinese, “GeYuan” symbolizes the beautiful scene of abundant agricultural harvests and societal prosperity. The name “GeYuan” reflects the spirit of China’s reform and opening-up era, representing national strength and improving livelihoods.

After its establishment, Beijing GeYuan primarily engaged in equity investment, investment consulting, investment management, corporate management consulting, and project investment advisory services. As an institutional investor, it participated in equity investments in multiple listed and pre-IPO companies.

GeYuan’s major investments in China include: Sinoway Investment Corporation, KunMing Sinobright Department Store Co.,Ltd., KunMing Sinoway Natural Pharmaceuticals Co.,Ltd., Yunnan Lvdadi Biotechnology Co., Ltd., Shanghai Fanghe Investment Center（Limited Partnership）, Shanghai Purun Phase IV Equity Investment Partnership Enterprise（Limited Partnership）, Shanghai Fengrui Venture Investment Center(Limited Partnership), and Tianjin Shangshi Venture Investment Fund, and others.

In 2011, as Mr. and Mrs. He relocated to the United States, they identified more investment opportunities in America. In 2012, they established Geyuan Investment Consulting, Inc. in the Greater Washington D.C. area. Together with Beijing Geyuan, they formed a multinational investment management firm with the same founders, the same equity structure, the same investment philosophy, and the same core management team.

GeYuan’s major investments in the United States include: ETP Capital(Emerging Technology Partners, LLC) , Vesta Corporation, Amend Surgical, Inc., OriGene Technologies, Inc., CASI Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Sirnaomics Biotech Inc., RNA Immune Inc., and Ark Pacific Special Opportunities Fund, and others.

Currently, GeYuan maintains offices in the Greater Washington D.C. area and Florida in the United States, as well as in Beijing, China.
